Design and Style of Jackson, WY
If you’re on this site, you probably already know what Mountain Modern design is (and if not, start here). In this article, we’ll discuss Jackson, WY. Jackson is a picturesque mountain town that you will be completely inspired by.
Jackson, WY is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful mountain cities in the states. It’s home to Grand Teton National Park, a couple ski resorts, breathtaking views (that you should definitely take inspiration from for your Mountain Modern homes), and fun nightlife.

Jackson Hole is a great place to enjoy nature and wildlife. The outdoors are celebrated and showcased all throughout the city, both outside and inside. One of the most recognizable places to visit is the Town Square. This is home to the beautiful antler arch that you’ve probably seen all over Instagram. This arch is made up of around 2,000 elk antlers from the National Elk Refuge. Fun fact: if this interests you, you can visit the National Elk Refuge. There are many lookout points within the 25,000 acres, but there are also tours available.
Skiing in Jackson is top tier and they definitely do not fall short of having some great resorts. Some worth mentioning are Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa, The Lodge at Jackson Hole, and Elk Country Inn. All of these places are going to give you the full mountain living experience. You’ll notice lots of wood all throughout the lodge, as well as fur, moody color palettes and probably a decent amount of fireplaces.
If you’re interested in the nightlife, you have to visit the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. Here you will be immersed into that cowboy lifestyle that Jackson Hole is known for. The bar seats are saddles, there are antlers hung all over, and there are so many various pieces of cowboy art. The neon sign outside is also very catchy, maybe a photograph you take of the bar could be framed in your own Mountain Modern home.
Jackson, WY is one of the most picturesque mountain towns, no matter where you go, you’re bound to be inspired by the beauty all around you.
